Terms and Conditions

Trupinion(Trupinion, LLC, Trupinion.com, “the Website” or “the Company”)reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions of Service at any time. Any changes made are effective as of the date shown. The Company will make reasonable efforts to notify members that changes have been made to the Terms and Conditions. Continued use of the site constitutes agreement to follow the terms and conditions of Trupinion.com 

 

Trupinion.com Membership

In order to register with Trupinion.com the following requirements must be met:

  1. Members must be age 18 or older at the time of registration
  2. Members must be a citizen or legal resident of the US, UK, AUS, or Canada.
  3. Only one membership is allowed per household
  4. Only one account is allowed per email address
  5. Only one account is allowed per person

Member Information

During or subsequent to registration the Company may collect information such as but not limited to first and last name, mailing address, date of birth, phone number, and other identifiable information. Members agree to provide accurate data to the Website as well as any third-party sites that they may be directed to in order to participate in surveys, trials, or other offerings. Failure to provide complete and accurate information may result in disabling of membership and forfeiture of any balance. 

Emails and other Notifications

In order to facilitate registration and provide opportunities for members the Company may contact members by email or other means as those methods are agreed to by members.

Membership Ownership

Members are responsible for ensuring that passwords are kept secure and that only they access their account. Sharing of accounts will result in disabling of membership and forfeiture of any balance. Accounts and balances are non-transferrable.

Membership Termination/Cancellation

Trupinion, LLC reserves the right for any reason specified or unspecified to disable any membership at any time without notice. Such an action may be taken if any provision of these Terms and Conditions are violated, fraudulent activity is detected on the Website, a third-party partner notifies the Company that fraudulent activity has been detected on their website and is linked to a member, or at the sole discretion of Trupinion, LLC.

Members may cancel their membership at any time.

If a membership is disabled by Trupinion or a member cancels their membership any balance is forfeit.

Redeeming Member Earnings

Upon reaching a Confirmed Balance of $50 members my request payment through methods offered by the Company. 

Pending balances are not eligible for payment request.

No more than $20 of any payment can be Trupinion internal surveys.

The Company will do its best to hasten verification of due member participation for in house surveys. 

Third-party survey, trial, game, or other participation is verified externally therefore Trupinion cannot expedite verification of those offerings.

Trupinion will work in good faith to remedy any failure of a third-party to verify participation however it is incumbent on members to maintain records that corroborate participation such as:

  1. Confirmation Emails
  2. Confirmation Pages
  3. Receipts
  4. Failure to produce such documentation in the form of screenshots or acceptable files may result in a refusal of confirmation.

Third-Party Participation

While Trupinion will never request billing information from member’s participation in trials, games, or other Third-Party offerings may require payment for shipping and handling, a reduced trial cost, or other fees. It is the responsibility of members participating in such activities to track, manage, and cancel any such fee or external memberships. Members agree to hold Trupinion harmless for any charges or overcharges made by third-party companies.

Membership with Trupinion.com

Membership with Trupinion does not constitute an employment agreement. No employer-employee relationship is granted or implied by your use of the Website.

Fraud and Fraudulent Activity

Any alteration or attempted alteration of the function of the Website will result in disabling of membership and forfeiture of the account’s balance.

Any attempt to falsify participation in Trupinion surveys or third-party offerings will result in disabling of membership and forfeiture of the account’s balance.

Any attempt to fraudulently collect payment will result in disabling of membership and forfeiture of the account’s balance.

All fraudulent activity may result in pursuit of legal remedy on the part of the Company.

Trupinion cannot and does not guarantee participation in any opportunity on the Website will be verified.

Trupinion cannot and does not warranty or guarantee the quality of any third-party service that may be presented to a member.

Member Balances

Trupinion will only pay out member balances that are confirmed. These balances expire after 180 days of inactivity and are not recoverable. Trupinion reserves the right to reverse verified participation if a third-party indicates participation was not complete. Items pending will be removed from the Member Activity screen upon expiration of the item in question or when enough time has passed to reasonably allow a third-party to verify complete participation.

Third-Party Activity

Trupinion provides members access to third-party marketing partner offers, sites, and other earning opportunities. Participation in these items are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Third-Parties and Trupinion makes no guarantee or warranty for any third-party offer, site, or product.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and your use of the Website are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey applicable to agreements made and to be entirely performed within the State of New Jersey without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Limitations of Liability

In no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third-party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from your use of the Website even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of our respective officers, agents, partners, and employees, from and against any loss, damage, inability, claim; or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees and expenses, made by any third-party due to or arising out of: 

  1. Use of the Website
  2. Breach of these Terms and Conditions
  3. Any breach of your representations and warranties set forth in these Terms and Conditions
  4. Your violation of the rights of a third-party including but not limited to intellectual property rights
  5. Any overt harmful act toward any other use of the Website with whom you connected via the Website
  6. User Data

We will maintain certain data that you transmit to the Website for the purpose of managing the performance of the Website as well as data relating to your use of the Website. Although we perform routine backups of data you are solely responsible for all data that you transmit or that relates to any activity you have undertaken using the Website. You agree that the Company shall have no liability to you for loss or corruption of any such data.
